Please review the following policies regarding the KISD Natatorium Swim Lesson Program.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the KISD Natatorium at (817) 744-1350.

Swim Lesson Make-up Policy:  Make-up swim lessons will only be granted in the event that a participant becomes seriously ill or injured for an extended period.  In that event, the participant will be offered enrollment in the next regularly scheduled session of swim lessons.

Re-scheduled Classes:  In the rare instances where KISD Natatorium must cancel a scheduled class (due to pool issues, etc), the make up class day/time will be emailed to all participants, as well as posted at the pool.  Only those swimmers who were registered for the class that was cancelled can attend the make up class.  No refunds are given if a swimmer cannot attend the re-scheduled class.

Refund/Transfer Policy:  If it is determined after the first class of a session that a child cannot successfully complete the session, the child's parent may request a refund or class credit.  This request must be made prior to the second scheduled class.

An $8.00 administrative fee will be applied to ALL refunds and credits/transfers per person.  Refunds requested from credit card payments will be credited back to the same credit card less the administrative fee.  Refunds requested from cash or check payments will be issued in the form of a check and mailed in approximately 14 business days less the administrative fee.  There are no cash refunds.

Swim Lesson Registration Policy:  Swim lesson registrations may be completed online, or in person at the KISD Natatorium Front Desk.  Registrations will not be taken over the phone.  Registrations MUST be completed by the Friday of the week before a session begins.  Registrations are closed at 8:00pm on the Friday before a session begins.

Swim Lesson Reservation Policy:  The KISD Natatorium does not allow the reservation of spaces in the swim lesson program.  Swim lesson registration is performed on a first-come, first-served basis ONLY.  Participation in a session of any program at the KISD Natatorium does not guarantee space in any subsequent session.

Swim Lesson Family Discount Policy:  The KISD Natatorium offers a discount for registering multiple children of the same household in our swim lesson program.  The discount schedule is as follows:

1st child:  No discount
2nd child:  $5.00 off
3rd child:  $7.00 off
4th child:  $10.00 off
5th child:  $15.00 off

This discount may only be redeemed on in-person registrations.  This discount may only be applied to registration in the swim lesson program.  Participants must all be registered at the same time to receive the discount.

KISD Employee Swim Lesson Discount:  The KISD Natatorium offers a discount for KISD employees who register one or more children of the same household as the employee in our swim lesson program.  The discount schedule is as follows:

1st child:  $5.00 off
2nd child:  $7.00 off
3rd child:  $10.00 off
4th child:  $15.00 off

This discount may only be redeemed on in-person registrations, with a valid KISD employee ID badge presented at time of registration.  This discount may only be applied to registration in the swim lesson program.  Participants must all be registered at the same time to receive the discount.
