Linda Shults - Keller ISD Natatorium Manager

Linda has spent most of her life in or around pools. For the last 23 years, she was the PE teacher and head coach of Eastern Hills High School Swim Team in Ft. Worth. More recently, Linda was appointed the Keller High School swim coach, as well as the Keller ISD Natatorium Manager. Over the years, Linda has not only had continued success in coaching All-American, All-State and All-Region swimmers and divers, but has learned everything there is to know about running a successful and safe pool environment as the Eastern Hills natatorium pool manager.
Linda lettered in swimming throughout high school and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas Wesleyan University. Linda’s children have excelled in the sport of swimming; 21-yr old Jace was a two-time High School All-American, and daughter Jamie (15) is a former TAGS qualifier, and is now a freshmen varsity swimmer on the Keller High School team. Linda and her husband Mike have been married 23 years and reside in Keller.
Lynne Anderson - Keller ISD Assistant Natatorium Manager

Although Lynne has held various positions in the Information Technology industry for the last 25 years, Lynne’s first love has always been swimming. While working full-time for Carroll ISD, Lynne’s was also the City of Southlake’s Stingrays Swim Team Program Director for the last 10 years. Lynne has put her computer background to good use by assisting local pools and swim teams on how to use computer software to streamline all aspects of swimming, from scheduling lessons, to running a successful swim meet.
Lynne grew up in Connecticut and New Jersey, where she swam competitively and was captain of her high school tennis team. Lynne earned a B.A. in Spanish & Sociology from the University of Minnesota, and then was fortunate to work in the computer industry for 15 years until she felt compelled to rejoin the ‘swimming’ world. Lynne and her husband of 23 years, Dennis, have 4 children: Erica, Brooke, Paige & Drew, all of whom are competitive swimmers. Lynne and her family have been residents of Southlake since 1993.
Ashley Knapp – Waterproof Kids Coordinator

Ashley grew up in the “Golden State” of California, where she was a competitive swimmer since the age of 4. She received a full athletic scholarship to swim for the University of Miami, where she majored in Business Entrepreneurship. In college, Ashley was a 4-time conference qualifier, and set 2 new school records; in the individual 100 yard backstroke and as the backstroke leg of the 200 yard Medley Relay. Upon graduation, Ashley interned with the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida. Thereafter, she moved to Texas to pursue a teaching and coaching career. In 2007, Ashley began her work in KISD as an assistant swim coach, and the Coordinator of the Waterproof Kids program at the Keller ISD Natatorium. Ashley lives with her best friend, and love of her life, Rockie, her 4 month old Rottweiler puppy.
Michael R. Beaver – Sr. Head Lifeguard

After moving from Canada and playing hockey throughout middle school, Michael joined the Keller High School swim team as a freshman and continued swimming competitively throughout his high school career. Michael lettered all four years and was a two time 5-A district champion, as well as a 2000 Texas swimming state qualifier.
After graduating high school Michael obtained two degrees including a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts and Science from the University of North Texas, and an Associates Degree in Radio/Television/Film from Tarrant County College. Michael is currently obtaining his teaching certificate so that he can become an elementary school teacher.
Michael has been a Keller ISD Natatorium employee for over five years; he is currently a member of the Water Proof Kids staff as well as being the Sr. Head Lifeguard. Michael is also a certified lifeguard instructor through the American Red Cross, and teachers lifeguard classes when he is not working at the Natatorium.
Kelly Middleton – Head Lessons & Waterproof Kids Instructor

Originally from Philadelphia, Kelly grew up on the eastern shore of Maryland, not far from the beach. During the summers she was a lifeguard on Assateague Island, and in the winters she taught swim lessons and was a lifeguard, and then swam competitively through college. Kelly has four sons who all swim on the Lakeside Aquatic Club here at the KISD Natatorium. Kelly's love of children and swimming led her to return to a career as a swim lesson instructor. Kelly hopes to instill a passion for swimming and pool safety to all the students she is fortunate to work with at the KISD Natatorium.
Jessica Dodson – Front Desk Support

Jessica hails from Flower Mound, TX. While growing up, she played soccer for both a competitive club team and the Flower Mound High School team. She was also a member of the FMHS Academic Decathlon team and SAT team. Before settling in Flower Mound in 1998, Jessica spent three years living in Orgeval, France, a small suburb of Paris. While overseas, she attended an international school where she became fluent in French.
Jessica has been a member of the KISD Natatorium staff since 2007. She currently attends Tarrant County College, with plans to graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She resides in North Fort Worth with her boyfriend Matt and their two Boston Terriers, Roxy and Lola.

Marie was born in Montreal, Canada, where she lived for the first 10 years of her life. When she was 10, her family moved to Virginia Beach, VA, where she learned English for the first time. After living there for 3 years, Texas came calling. She currently is studying Psychology with a minor in History and Biology at the University of North Texas. Marie will be graduating in the spring of 2009. She is planning to continue her studies in Canada to get a master in Classical History or Psychology. Marie has two younger sisters, both living in Montreal, with the rest of her family. Marie presently lives with her husband, Alan, in Fort Worth.
