Hayley Arnold

October

Ms. Arnold teaches 7th grade math and 7th grade Pre-Algebra.   This is her 2nd year at Indian Springs.  Ms. Arnold loves to work with the kids, and see them when they have an “ah ha” moment.  It is exciting for Ms. Arnold to see them learning and gaining the desire to learn each day.

Karna Cobb

  December

Mrs. Cobb has known from a very young age that she would one day be a teacher.  Mrs. Cobb has been a Math/Inclusion teacher for 15 years and loves every minute.  Her passion for her profession shows up in her hard work and devotion to the students she serves every day.  Students and teachers alike benefit from her constant positive attitude and commitment to ISMS.  Please take time to thank Mrs. Cobb for her hard work and companionate spirit.  It is teachers like Mrs. Cobb that make Indian Springs Middle School one of the best schools in Texas!

Kristy Quinton

January

Mrs. Kristy Quinton is the Life Skills teacher at Indian Springs and has been teaching in Keller ISD for the last 5 years.  Mrs. Quinton loves ISMS and believes that ISMS is a great place to work because of the support she receives from a great Administration and Staff.  Before teaching, Mrs. Quinton grew up in Haltom City and attended Tarleton State University.  After college, Kristy joined the corporate world for thirteen years in banking.  She enjoyed banking because she was able to work with the public on a daily basis.  Once becoming a mother, Kristy found herself needing a good part time job to spend more time at home.  She started substitute teaching in the Keller schools and fell in love working with kids.  It was while working as an aide in a Special Ed. classroom that she found her true calling and passion in life, working with children with special needs.  Kristy went back to school for her Alternative Certification to become a classroom teacher.  “I love my job and it has been a true joy in my life,” says Mrs. Quinton, “I can’t wait for the years ahead.”

Mary Bostick

February

Mary Bostick is a Content Mastery / Special Ed. teacher.  She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University. For the first fourteen years of her teaching career she taught grades first through fourth. It was the move back to the Keller area that peaked her interest in Special Ed. While at Keller ISD she had the opportunity to substitute in a Content Mastery classroom and fell she fell in love with teaching all over again. Mrs. Bostick had the good fortune to be hired here at Indian Springs where she has been for the last six years. Mrs. Bostick considers herself twice blessed to not only love what she does, but also love where she works.  Thank you Mrs. Bostick for all your hard work and dedication you have shown to our school and students.

Heather Thompson

March

Heather Thompson teachers 7th and 8th Grade Math Quest at Indian Springs Middle this year.  Heather feels very blessed to have joined the ISMS family immediately after graduating from Baylor University.  Heather has a passion to be a positive influence in her students’ lives, and hopes to help them understand, appreciate, and even enjoy a subject that many of them have struggled with for years.  Heather states, “My proudest teacher moments are when students have come to me in tears because they are so excited that they have passed the Math TAKS.  That makes every step I’ve taken well worth it.”   In addition to her passions here at school Heather is the proud mommy of two little girls, she loves to read, run, and teach.  Please be sure to congratulate her and thank her for all the hard work she has done for our students and school!
