Hello! My name is Angelina Bowen. I received my Master's in counseling from UNT in 1998 and have been Florence Elementary's counselor since 2003. My husband JD and I have been married since 1995 and we have two sons, Ryan is almost 9 and in Mrs. Smith's 3rd grade at Florence. Luke just turned 6 and is in Mrs. Milligan's A.M.Kindergarten class. No pets yet, but the boys are really trying to convince mom and dad to get a dog.

As the counselor at FES my job is to provide social and emotional support for your child so they can have the most successful school experience possible. I provide individual counseling and small group counseling for those who need it and classroom guidance for all students. I can also provide outside referrals for assessments, evaluations and private therapy.
