Title
FBLA Meeting Notes from Jan. 10th Meeting
Body
1. Playing for Preemies is Feb 25th. This is the Central vs. Keller girls' soccer game that will be used to raise money for the March of Dimes. We will participate by buying a t-shirt, wearing them on game day and for the pep rally and going to the game. FBLA members will be presenting a check for $1000 to the soccer teams for the March of Dimes.
2. We voted on 2 items:
*All members in attendance voted to donate $1000 to the March of Dimes.
*All members in attendance voted to pay for the CTE Advisory Lunch on Jan. 13th.
3. Area 7 Competition is Saturday, Feb 12th here at CHS. You need to be here by 7:45 am and in professional dress for the competition on leadership workshops that you will attend that day. The event should be over by 3 pm.
4. If you have a multiple choice test for your competitive event, you will be taking that test online on Jan 25th at 2:35 pm in C109 - Ms. Hargrove's room. She will proctor the tests. We will get you excused from your 4th period that day and you will report directly to her room for instructions and testing. The test will take 1 hour. Please be prepared to be here until around 4 pm as she will not be able to start testing until around 3 pm.
5. I verified everyone's competitive events with members that were in attendance.
6. If you are in a speaking event, you need to schedule times to meet with one of the advisors to get ready for competition.
**I will be gone the week leading up to Feb 12th...I will be in Austin...so do not procrastinate!**
If you have further questions, please come see me asap!
