Scott Goodwin had been in secondary education for the past 22 years.  He received his B.S.E. in Secondary Social Studies Education from Truman State University in 1987 and his Masters in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas in 2003. 

He worked in the Grapevine-Colleyville I.S.D. system from 1987 until 2003 and has been at Central High School from 2003 until today.   During his time at Grapevine High School, Mr. Goodwin has taught many subjects that have helped to develop the leadership potential of students.  These have included courses in Law and Trial Procedures.  Additionally, Mr. Goodwin developed the Mock Trial Competition team and placed as high as 6th place in state competition.  He was also a member of the coaching staff of the 1996 and 1998 Class 4A State Champion football program as well as a coach in track, golf and basketball. 

Mr. Goodwin is married to Caroline, who is a proud Texas Aggies and has been a teacher on Language Arts/Reading for the past 28 years.  Mr. Goodwin has two wonderful daughters, Shelby, a freshman at Tarleton State University who will wishes to follow her mother’s example and become a Middle School Teacher, and Mallory, who is an 8th grade student and future thespian and singer.
