In an effort to help your child as much as possible, our teachers have an open door policy with all students, not just the ones in their classrooms each day. What this means for you is that your child can use the information below to find another resource if their own teacher is unavailable. Below the table I have also included KISD policies about late work and retakes that might be useful information to you. Other information specific to each teacher can be found on the individual teacher webpages to the left. Thank you and we look forward to working together to make this a great year for your child.

District policy gives us the following guidelines:
• Grade breakdown will be 60% for major and 40% for minor.
• Retakes are allowed on major grades only within a 5 day period from getting the grade back, with a maximum grade of a 70. Notice this is a district change from last year because now ONLY major grades can be retaken.
• Late work will be a maximum of 70 if one day late, a maximum of 50 on the second day late, and a zero on the third day late.
