More clubs will be added as the year progresses. 5th grade honor Choir & 6th grade Show Choir – Ms. Erler – Once a week, after school. Battle of the Books - Ms. Carr - meets before school every Monday. Book Club – Ms. Carr – last Monday of the month, 3:00-3:45. The library provides a different book each month for the members to read. We talk about the book, watch trailers for new books and just have a lot of fun! The first meeting is on October 28th. House Council- Ms. Carr- Each house will have a house council (similar to student council) that will be leaders for their houses. Applications are out the first week of October for fifth and sixth graders! Meetings will be before school from 7:30-8:10 on set dates throughout the year. Lego Club - Mr. Erwin, Ms. Chaves, Mr. Forward, and Mrs. Thomas - Join us as we explore the wonderful universe of Lego. Meetings are the 4th Tuesday of the month, beginning September 26. Click here for the parent permission slip.Library Aides – Ms. Carr - One student from each class is selected by their teacher to be the Library Aide. During their class visit to the library they check in and out books and help the other students. During their Go Time they come back to the library to shelve books. They each receive a free tee-shirt. They occasionally meet after school for trainings and parties. Trainings occur every six weeks on Fridays. Pokemon Club – Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Baldwin, and Mrs. Lord - first Tuesday of each month (except January when we will meet on the second Tuesday). We meet in the cafeteria immediately after school until 3:45. We meet to socialize, trade cards, battle, and talk Pokemon. We also have games and crafts available. A card collection is not required for membership. Just come for the fun. Meetings are held in the Cafeteria. Click here for more information. Click here for the parent permission form.Vet Club - Mrs. Matthiesen - The focus of this club is to allow students to learn more about the field of veterinary medicine with students who share a love of animals. We will learn about responsible pet ownership, the path a student will take to get to vet school, how vets complete physical exams and diagnostics, and so much more!
