This is my 20th year to teach at KMS and I love it! I teach AVID and World Mythology. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2014. I hope to inspire students to be lifelong learners and successful at whatever they choose to do in life. My conference time is 8:00 - 8:30 am or 2:15 - 2:45 (on most days) I'm excited to teach World Mythology again. This is a great class for helping students connect history, literature, art, geography, psychology, sociology and philosophy to current pop culture trends, like video games, movies and comic books. I'm also excited to teach AVID - a college prep class that helps students with organization, note-taking, showing their thinking and analyzing their strengths and weaknesses to become better students. We also do test-taking strategies, tutorials with college students, team building activities, and even college campus tours.KELLERISD\12104AVIDAVID Teacher3/28/2017 7:58:13 AM Photos/Profile Pictures/12104_MThumb.jpgTharp, RhondaAVID Coordinator;Gifted & Talented Services;World Mythology;KMS Colorguard5db0ad05-1a3e-48ee-9096-a8a64ae9a8e8aed2f7ce-8be8-4412-827a-175556b363d0

2015-16 marks my 23rd year in education, my 4th year in KISD, my 3rd year as an assistant principal, and my 1st year at KMS. I taught English and reading for 20 years before becoming an AP at Timber Creek HS. 16 of those years were at the middle school level. After two years at Timber Creek, I found that I missed middle-school kiddos and asked for a transfer to a middle school. I was so excited to learn that I was coming to KMS! I look forward to working with your students and helping them become all they can be. Please let me know if there is ever anything I can assist you with. Special Note: You will find there is a link to the right on this page that will take you to an Amazon link for school supplies. Please know this is to give you an idea of what your child will need for the school year in my class. You do not need to purchase these items from Amazon or even the brand that is on the list. This is merely a list to give you an idea of what we will be using in class. Also know that if your child is enrolled in AVID the binder used in that class will also be used in this class so there is no need to purchase a separate binder. Thank you and if you have any questions please feel free to email me.KELLERISD\29030Assistant PrincipalAssistant Principal6/16/2017 7:56:54 AM Photos/Profile Pictures/29030_MThumb.jpgLacy, Logan5db0ad05-1a3e-48ee-9096-a8a64ae9a8e8e62571bd-5db6-4208-8465-cdb62c8c8b08
I have been a nurse for over 22 years, and I practiced in Wyoming, Missouri, Connecticut and Texas! This is my 4th year in Keller ISD and first year here at KMS. I have been married to my husband for over 22 years now - and we have 3 children - 20, 17 and 13 - all that are attending, or have attended Keller ISD schools. I love taking care of your children during the school day - and my focus is on wellness and safety. My door is always open to talk to parents - and I want to collaborate with you if your child has any medical needs during the school day.KELLERISD\28236BSRNNurse - BSRN3/28/2017 7:58:23 AM Photos/Profile Pictures/28236_MThumb.jpgJones, Julie5db0ad05-1a3e-48ee-9096-a8a64ae9a8e8182de2e1-24f1-4d8a-8f8b-c426d9a4e877
