Home Open Campus Menu Academic Testing Page ContentThe state of Texas requires high school students to meet the passing standard on five End-of-Course exams as a graduation requirement. (English I, English II, Algebra I, Biology, and US History). Recent legislation allows for students who meet the designated cut score on a college readiness exam (ie. SAT, ACT, ACT, TSI, PLAN, IB, PSAT, AP) to replace the EOC exam in the content area for which the required score was earned. Electing to use a college readiness exam as a substitute for a state EOC exam is at the discretion of the parent/ adult student. Students will be scheduled to take the designated EOC exam if not otherwise indicated by parent/ adult student with the required documentation provided to school counselor. Please click on the following link to review the TEA cut score table: http://ritter.tea.state.tx.us/rules/tac/chapter101/19_0101_4002-1.pdf. The deadline to submit college readiness results as a substitute assessment for the remaining EOCs (Algebra I, Biology, and US History) is April 30, 2018.
