AP Exams

What is AP?

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies — with the opportunity to earn college credit, advanced placement or both — while still in high school. AP Exams are given each year in May. A score of 3 or higher on an AP Exam can typically earn students college credit and/or placement into advanced courses in college.  To learn more about AP, go to the following link: The AP Program.

Financial assistance is available to help with the cost of these exams. If your child currently receives free or reduced lunch, they are automatically approved for a test fee of $30 per exam. This will be reflected on their registration confirmation page.

If your child does not receive free or reduced lunch, but you would like to request consideration for a discretionary fee waiver, please complete the application below and send it to your child's counselor for review. You will be notified of a decision by the campus testing coordinator.
