This list has been provided for you and your child to help encourage their interest and excitement in co-curr subjects. Please help foster this interest in your child by allowing them to find information on these famous people. Students should turn in 3 facts about each person (12 facts total) each month for the opportunity to attend a pizza party and earn a spirit stick at the end of the year. All of the answers can come from the internet or a written source. Please make sure the student's first and last name is on their paper, along with their teacher's name, and have them turn it in to Ms. Taylor or Mrs. Westfall. The paper must be turned in during the month listed. Late work will not be accepted as we will have already moved on to another person in class. Please note that this is not a required assignment. Your facts may be handwritten on notebook paper or typed. Parent handwriting will not be accepted. If your child turns in this sheet each month, s/he will receive an invitation in May to attend the pizza party. At this party, we will have pizza, cookies, drinks and games and we will hand out spirit sticks. Thank you so much for your support and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Special Note: All of the famous people that have been selected have had an enormous impact in multiple cultures and throughout history. However, not all of them have lived flawless personal lives. Please use kid-friendly sources when helping your child find information.
