Dollars for Diabetes

The HLES Dollars for Diabetes Pajama Day is Friday, March 31. All students are welcome to wear their pajamas to school for FREE but we're asking for a little bit more help...

In order to help our HLES team raise money for the School Walk for Diabetes on April 1, students can purchase a prize ticket for $1.00. Every ticket you purchase gets entered into a drawing for a CUTE and CUDDLY stuffed animal that will be given away on PJ Day! The more dollars you donate – the more tickets you get – the more chances to win!

Tickets may be purchased in the front office.  If you're writing a check, please make it out to ADA.  Thank you for partnering with KISD as we suppor the American Diabetes Association in the cure for diabetes.

School Walk for Diabetes

It’s no joke! The 12th annual KISD Diabetes walk will take place on Saturday, April 1 from 8:00am-12:00pm at the KISD Stadium.

For those interested in walking, the cost is $10 per person. Participation envelopes were sent home recently or you may pick one up in the front office.

If you are unable to participate in the walk, you can still help out by making a virtual donation or by purchasing a t-shirt. Shirts range from $10-$12. Please complete the t-shirt order form and return it to the front office ASAP.  Questions? Contact Nurse Tobie at.

Gifted & Talented Testing Window

Please return the completed survey to the front office.  Questions? Contact our GT teacher, Tori Hernandez
