Hoops for Heart

​Our School is hosting Hoops for Heart on February 5th – March 2nd. Hoops for Heart is a community service learning program of the American Heart Association. It teaches kids:

  • The importance of developing heart-healthy habits;
  • That being physically active can be fun; and
  • That by raising funds to support research and education they help save lives across the country and in their community.

Please keep in mind these dates:

Dr. Seuss Week

​We will be dressing up the week of February 26th-March 2nd to celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday! Themes are:

Monday (26th) - Many Color Monday- Wear as many colors as you can.

Tuesday (27th) - Fox in Socks- Wacky Socks Day

Wednesday (28th) - Whoville - Crazy Hair Day

Thursday (1st) - Oh! The Places You'll Go! College T-Shirt Day

Friday (2nd) - The Cat in the Hat- Dress like Cat in the Hat or your favorite Dr. Seuss character.

Chick-fil-A Spirit Day/Night

​Join us at the Chick-fil-A in Alliance Town Center on March 6th for a school spirit day/night between the hours of 11:30am and 9:00pm! Be sure to tell the cashier that you are with the ELC North. 


News From the Nurse

​Welcome back to the 2nd half of 2017-2018 school year!  We are in the midst of cold and flu season.  See below flyer for tips for staying well and differences between colds/flu.  We would like to remind you about a joint program between Keller ISD and Cook Children's.  Your child can be seen by a medical provider through telehealth technology for certain sick symptoms while in the school nurse's office.  Go to for more information.  You may directly register your child for the program at the following link:
