Home Open Campus Menu Administration Page Content Leslee Shepherd Principal Leslee Shepherd is the Director of Career and Technical Education in Keller ISD as well as serving as the Principal for the Keller Center for Advanced Learning. She has been in public education for 25 years and is passionate about connecting students to a future of their choice. She serves on the Tarrant County Sherriff’s Department Advisory Board and is a board member for the Challenge of Tarrant County’s Stay on Track Coalition. As a member of the Keller Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Shepherd has had the opportunity to meet and connect with various business and community members throughout this area. She is always in search of the best opportunities for the students of Keller ISD. Katie WawakDean of StudentsKatie Wawak is the Assistant Principal of the Keller Center for Advanced Learning. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a B.S. in Food Science and Technology along with a Business Minor. After spending a few years in the Food and Sales Industries, she decided to make the move to Education. She began her career as a Middle School Science Teacher. Upon realizing she wanted to make a bigger impact, she attend Lamar University to obtain her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. She spent 2 years at the Elementary level gaining knowledge and experiences to build on the foundational cores of learning. When learning about KCAL, she decided she wanted to blend her Industry background with educational experiences and build opportunities for the students to learn about their passions. Stephanie Speaks Dean of Students Stephanie Speaks is the Dean of Students responsible for the School of Public Services and the School of Visual Arts. She attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a B.A. in Communication along with minors in Sociology and History. Stephanie has industry experience in hospitality and medical staffing prior to becoming an educator. She is beginning her tenth year in education after teaching English, being an Athletic Coach, an Instructional Coach, and an Assistant Principal prior to coming to the Keller Center for Advanced Learning. She attended Lamar University to obtain her Master’s Degree in Educational Technology Leadership. Stephanie is excited to be a part of the KCAL experience, and she is eager to work with students, teachers, and families to bring positive opportunities to the community within Keller ISD.
