Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week will be held during the week of October 23. Here's what's going on:

Monday, October 23 - "Use Your Head! Wear Red" - Students should wear red clothing to school. In addition, Black Creek Canine Detection will hold a student assembly in the morning.
Tuesday, October 24 -  "Don’t get Twisted Up with Drugs" – Students may wear their clothes inside out.
Wednesday, October 25 – "Your Future is Key so Stay Drug Free" - Students may dress for your future career. This theme is meant to get your student to begin thinking of future possibilities and interest in careers. Costumes do not have to be elaborate or store bought, however, they do need to be realistic career options. Costumes such as a princess, pirate, Ninja Turtle, or Sponge Bob would be perfect for Halloween, but they are not appropriate for this day, because they do not reflect a career goal.  If your child does not wish to dress up that day, feel free to substitute a HLES spirit shirt.
In addition, Marcene Weatherall, KISD Coordinator of Counseling Intervention, will host a parent only presentation about drug trends in Keller ISD from 12:00pm-1:00pm in the HLES Library.
Thursday, October 26 - "Your Future is Bright so Stay Drug Free"– Students may wear sunglasses to school .

Friday, October 27 - “Sock it to Drugs” – Students may wear crazy socks to school.
