May Elections - Get out and Vote!
The Keller ISD Board of Trustees election will be held May 10, 2008. Early voting starts on April 28 and continues until May 6.
Craig Allen and Richard Walker are running for Place 4, currently held by Scott Brown, who decided not to run for re-election. Incumbent Lara Lee Hogg and Charles Youngblood are running for Place 5.
Click here for a list of the early voting locations and operating hours. Click here for Election Day locations. For more information about the candidates, click here to view the Tarrant County League of Women Voters Election Guide.
If you are a Fort Worth resident, you will have the opportunity to cast your vote on a $150 million bond program that would pay for street and other surface transportation improvements across the district. The proposition includes 230 projects including neighborhood and arterial streets, bridges, traffic signals and other street-related projects. To see what streets are slated to be included in the bond, click here.
Every citizen can make a major impact on the election by casting their vote. We encourage all district residents to vote for their board of trustee candidate of choice and for our Fort Worth residents, to vote on the proposed road improvements on May 10.
