Welcome to the fall semester in 8th grade science! This semester we get to explore space and the inner depths of our Earth. This is a a fabulous semester as we get to know another and work towards making this 8th grade year a great one.
My name is Terry Evans and I have been teaching science for thirteen years. I love teaching and working with kids. I am orignially from El Paso, TX. I graduated from UTEP in 1999 with a Bachlors of Interdisciplinary Studiess (aka, education) and shortly after, moved to the DFW area. My first teaching job was in a middle school. At the time, I thought I would try it out, but eventually, I would move to an elementary school. However, once I tried middle school, I was hooked and have been in one ever since.
In 2006, my husband and I purchased a home in Keller. We love our community and I love that I get to service the students within the community of Keller. I have two children of my own, a 9 year old boy, Alex, and my four year old, Matthew. Family is very important to me and I look forward to getting to know my students and their family.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
